Spennymoor Settlement currently have vacancies for its regular Tai Chi classes held in the Everyman Theatre on O’Hanlan Street each Wednesday afternoon, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. The charge is £5 per person per session.
No equipment is required and loose-fitting comfortable clothing such as tee-shirts, shorts or leggings and soft shoes or trainers is ideal.
This gentle form of structured exercise is particularly beneficial to persons of middle age and older.
