Taekwondo returns to Chilton

Following the success of the Chi Fishburn Taekwondo demonstration at Chilton Summer Fayre, a new class, Chi Chilton Taekwondo, will begin on 8 October at Chilton Academy.

Classes will run every Wednesday evening from 6pm.

Taekwondo was once a big part of Chilton. It was the club of trailblazers such as Grandmaster David Jordison. Until 2017, it was tutored by Chilton’s own and much missed, Joan Britton.

The class is open to both adults and children aged 5 and above.

Taekwondo is a fantastic way to build fitness, flexibility and balance, while also boosting confidence and learning valuable self-defence skills.

Whether you’re completely new to Taekwondo or returning after some time away, everyone is invited to go along and give it a try.
