This year’s Spennymoor poppy badge, commissioned by local Company TA Plastics to raise money for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy appeal, is going on general sale from Monday 21 September.
Managing Director of TA Plastics John Humphreys said: “As Part of our companies charity fund raising efforts, we invited British Army Veteran Pete Molloy to design the 2026 poppy badge.
Again we are delighted with this year’s badge featuring 3 silhouettes; A Sailor, Soldier and Airman in the tri-service colours. A dedication to all those who have served and are in active service. Thank you Pete”
The Badges are £3 each with all profits going to the RBL’s Poppy Appeal. They can be purchased from The Sweet Shop, Black Horse Tudhoe, K. Devere Barbers, Hockings Butchers, Brewers Arms, TA Plastics, Advanced Windows and Bloom “N” Witches.
