There are still a few tickets left for the Annual Senior Citizens Bus Trip organised by Ferryhill Town Council. This year, the trip will take place on Thursday 25 July. The destination for the trip will be Scarborough.
Scarborough was chosen when the results of a questionnaire completed by people attending the 2023 bus trip demonstrated a preference to visit the seaside town this year.
Tickets are available from Ferryhill Town Hall to residents at a cost of £5 per ticket. This will be a flat rate for adults and children.
Coaches for the trip will meet in Ferryhill Market Place from 9am and will depart for Scarborough at 9.30am. Tickets must be shown prior to boarding the buses.
Coaches will depart Scarborough for the return journey to Ferryhill at 5pm and will drop off at various points on the main bus route around the town.
