Sisters Katie “The Head Hunter” and Lauren “Sweet P” Simpson, entered a Taekwondo skills charity competition on Sunday 23rd June, at Darlington, hosted by Chungdokwan Taekwondo.
And the pair, who train at SAS Taekwondo at Henknowle Community Centre, both returned home with silverware.
Katie took the gold medal in the flying sidekick challenge while Lauren took silver in power kicking and a bronze in flying sidekick.
“They are both true warriors, showing true fighting spirit,” said their very proud instructor, Andy Sowerby.
