Shildon AFC are expecting a big crowd at Dean Street on Saturday 22nd November when they entertain Runcorn Town in the 2nd Round of the F.A. Vase. Runcorn, from Cheshire, are in the North West Counties Premier Division and are currently in the bottom half of the league. However, they are not to be underestimated as they defeated West Allotment Celtic on 1st November in the 1st Round at home in front of a crowd of only 90 people.
After Saturday’s game, the Railwaymen have 3 more away league games before they finally have a home match on Saturday 6th December. By then they will have played 18 games in the league but only 6 at Dean Street.
