Sedgefield Water Polo Club celebrated the success of our members at their 7th annual presentation night on 12 April at The Big Club.
They would like to congratulate all those who won awards.
In addition, the 2024 Wakefield & District U16’s team were presented with their medals for winning the league last year, and certificates were presented to Level 8’s.
The current U16’s were presented with their bronze medals for their recent Northern League success.
The club would like to thank Sean for organising the event, in addition to Elaine and Sarah who coordinated the fundraising activities for the evening.
The DJ, John (Ayton Beats) was outstanding as usual and the karaoke was amazing.
‘Wrong Direction’ was the highlight of the night for many!
Also, a massive thank you goes to all coaches and volunteers who kindly give up their time each week in order to allow members to enjoy the sport.
The club is currently offering a juniors beginner session on a Saturday afternoon for those wishing to try this fun and exciting sport. All sessions need to be booked in advance, so please check their website or Facebook page for further information and joining instructions.
