Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts from Shildon BP Scout Group walked around the town in their pyjamas recently to raise money to support their activities. All members attended in fun, colourful pyjamas and walked through Shildon Park alongside some furry friends.
All the money raised from the walk goes back to the group to help keep costs down on events for members, including camps, day trips, and fun activities.
Shildon BP Scout Group meets every Friday during term time from 6pm until 8pm at the Methodist Church Hall and has spaces for children aged 4 years and over.
The group was first registered in 1912 and consists of three sections, the youngest being Beavers who are boys and girls aged between 4 and 8 years, the Cubs who are aged from 8-11 and Scouts from 11 onwards.
