Saks in Bishop Auckland has picked up a top accolade at the favourite salon group’s industry awards. Jessica Peel, apprentice at Saks Bishop Auckland, has won the prestigious ‘Hairdressing Advanced Apprentice Award.’ With salons nationwide, and in excess of 2,000 employees, this is a huge achievement for Jessica.
The Hairdressing Advanced Apprentice Award category challenged her to interpret upcoming trends and create a high-fashion ladies’ restyle cut. The overall style includes not only the all-important hair, but also clothes and make-up, advanced cutting/hairdressing skills, predicting upcoming fashions and making sure the look created is bang on trend.
