In April 2012, a lady donated a projector to a charity shop in Shildon. Unfortunately, she had also left a reel of film in the projector.
The lady is desperate for the reel’s safe return, as it contains images of Shildon’s 1975 Railways Celebrations and the Silver Jubilee, but more importantly it contained everything of sentimental value to her, including the growing years of her children.
There is a substantial reward for the return of the reel, not the projector itself, which the owner can keep.
