Ferryhill Town Council is extending an invitation to residents and visitors to join them at Ferryhill’s Annual Summer Gala. The annual event will take place this year over the weekend of Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July. Show rides will be operating in the Market Place car park from 11am until 6pm on both days.
On the Sunday, road closures will be in operation to accommodate a range of attractions taking place between 11am and 5pm, including a variety of market stalls, catering vehicles, face painting by Glittery Girl, and children’s entertainment by Mr Windbags, who will be hosting magic shows at 12.30pm and 2.30pm in the Town Hall gardens. Mr Windbags will also be demonstrating his amazing balloon modelling skills throughout the day.
Free parking will be available during the event in the car park at the rear of Mel’s Travel, and temporary bus stops will be in operation for the duration of the road closures.
