Several busy sections of footpaths in Hackworth Park have been resurfaced by Shildon Town Council thanks to Durham County Council’s Towns and Villages fund, via Bishop Auckland and Shildon AAP.
“The work ensures that the paths remain safe and accessible for all park users,” said a spokesperson.
“Thank you to Councillors Shirley Quinn, Samantha Townsend, and Matt Johnson for supporting this project. The footpaths are now fully open and will provide years of durable service to both walking and wheeled park users.”
