Ministry of Dance ended their dance season with a spectacular Summer Show at St Luke’s Parish Centre, and what a show it was, reports Martin Overend.
We wanted to give our amazing dancers the opportunity to show their family and friends what they have learned and celebrate their achievements together. It was a fantastic evening, enjoyed by all, and we would like to say a big thank you to Olwyn at St Luke’s for allowing us to put on the show, and for support over the last couple of months.
Ministry of Dance is a growing dance school in Ferryhill, teaching street, lyrical and other dance styles. They have continued with their aim of providing a safe environment for their dancers to make friends, develop new skills and embrace their individuality, whilst having lots of fun along the way. They close for the summer season, giving dancers and teachers a well-earned break.
Dancers Kirsty and Lisa said: “We couldn’t have achieved what we have, in nine months, without our amazing lead dance teacher Emma Waugh, Danielle Charlton, Lexi Mason and Savanah Avery. The support from parents, friends and family has also been unbelievable, we cannot thank you all enough”.
