Councillor Adam Zair held his first official event as Mayor of Bishop Auckland on Sunday 9th July 2017 at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
Cllr Zair welcomed Mayor’s from across the County along with friends, family and supporters who enjoyed a wonderful selection of cakes and sandwiches.
Generous guests supported the fundraising with a raffle and tombola.
Councillor Zair said: “I was thrilled that so many guests were able to join me on my first official event.
“We enjoyed a fantastic afternoon and raised £500, exceeding all expectations in launching my fundraising for the Great North Air Ambulance.”
“I would also like to thank Beverley Beal and Debra Wood for bringing stalls, Tesco for supplying a raffle prize and all of the staff at the Town Hall for their hard work.”
