During the summer months, Ferryhill Ladder Centre has worked with residents on its 4Together AAP funded Life Through A Lens project.
This gave those taking part the chance to work with professional photographer, Scott Akoz to improve their skills, confidence, and mental wellbeing.
The project offered trips around County Durham to explore the natural beauty of the county, with the request that they each produce a photograph that means some thing special to them.
“On Friday 4 October we were delighted to hold a celebration event at The Ferryhill Ladder Centre to view the photographs that had been taken and to congratulate those taking part on their hard work,” said Advice Worker, Nigel Jones.
“This project has been a fantastic way to promote better mental health through expression, and to celebrate what a wonderful county we are lucky enough to live in.”
