Dear Editor,
On behalf of the members and adult volunteers of the 1st Ferryhill Scout Group, I extend our heartfelt thanks to the townsfolk who supported Councillor Carole Atkinson’s fundraising events during her tenure as Mayor.
Thanks to their generosity, both our group and Ferryhill Miners Youth FC received £1,700 each. These funds will significantly support our ongoing efforts to provide enriching activities for the young people of Ferryhill and the surrounding areas.
In these challenging economic times, it is truly humbling to witness such generous community spirit.
Thank you, Carole, for your tireless dedication and support—it is deeply appreciated.
