At Old Shildon Club on Sunday 15th September, Barry Woodward won the pot leeks with a pair measuring 165 cubic inches, Joss Aldworth second with 178 cubic inches and Gary Richardson was third with 126 cubic inches.
Barry also had best leek in show, while Brian Walton won both the long leek and intermediate.
Brian also won the stump carrots, shallotts and flat bottomed onions.
As well as the Dave Aspey memorial trophy for his tray of three veg, D Redfern won the cauliflower, parsnips and long carrots.
On the flowers section, Ian Kitching won the three vases of dahlias, the large cacti, medium cacti, and small decs.
Gary Parsons won the three vases of chrysanthemums and the sprays.
G Hodgson won the giant dahlia, the large decs and medium decs.
There were only seven members down at the King William, where the pot leeks were won by Eric Dowling with 92 cubic inches.
Eddie Laybourne was second with 55 cubic inches and Joe Hindmarch was third with 97 cubic inches.
