balletLORENT’s Velveteen Rabbit is coming to Bishop Auckland to meet the ladies from the local ‘Knit and Natter’ group, who are knitting him some very special carrots.
A rabbit can be fussy about its carrots – especially a velveteen one!
Come and meet the Velveteen Rabbit as it pays a visit to Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
Children can feed the knitted carrots to the rabbit after a one-off show – but will they gain the rabbit’s approval?
The show, by Newcastle dance theatre company balletLORENT, includes many hand knitted items, including ladybird cushions for the children to sit on and a ‘garden rug’ boasting over 6,000 individually crocheted blades of grass.
The Velveteen Rabbit by balletLORENT is at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 25 January from 11am and 2pm and tickets are just £10.
