Shildon Railway Bowls Club (sponsored by RMH Car Sales) has a new club champion for 2024 with Harry Spark defeating Dave Bainbridge with a comprehensive 21-07 victory, reports Jonathan Prince.
Harry, who has only recently turned 21, belied his young age to deliver an assured performance in front of his family to overcome Dave, who is also the bowls club secretary.
Harry is the youngest member of the Spark family to play for the club as his mum, dad and older brother also represent SRBC along with his grandad, Mally Dent.
Harry will now go on to represent the club in the Darlington & District League Champion of Champions competition and all members wish him the very best.
