Thanks to funding received by the Bishop Auckland and Shildon Area Action Partnership via the Neighbourhood budgets of County Councillors Shirley Quinn, Samantha Townsend and Matt Johnson, Shildon Civic Hall has been able to upgrade the stage lighting system accompanied by a new easy to use software interface.
The new improved LED lighting set up provides professional lighting effects for performers and entertainers as well as the many community groups that utilise the building.
Infinity Dance were the first organisation to use the lighting system and involved the children assisting staff by selecting the special effect lighting they wanted to use for the show.
