The 4 Together Partnership Area Action Partnership (AAP) Board has a budget of £119,902 for 2023-24 to allocate over the coming months. Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available to groups, to be used to fund projects within the Ferryhill, Chilton & Windlestone, West Cornforth and Bishop Middleham areas.
The 4 Together Partnership is seeking projects from eligible groups that will improve the mental and/or physical Health & Wellbeing of Children, Young People & Families and/or Older People in the area. By way of project callout, the 4 Together Partnership are seeking well planned, eligible projects that demonstrate good value for money, with at least 5% match funding, and which meet and address the identified needs of our communities. Funding can cover capital and revenue costs, or both. Prospective projects should have a start date no earlier than January 2024 to allow time for applications to go through our ranking and technical appraisal processes.
Lee Copeland, Principal Area Action Partnership Coordinator for Durham County Council, said: “The open call for applications is a fantastic opportunity for groups to come forward with projects that meet the 4 Together Partnership’s aims, providing opportunities to improve mental and/or physical health and to assist residents to live a happier and healthier life in at least one of our 4 Together areas.”
Expression of Interest Forms need to be submitted by the deadline of 12 noon on Friday 28 July.
