A great time was had by everyone who attended a free fun day held for the community at Shildon Salvation Army recently.
Some of the activities on offer included various crafts, sumo wrestling, bouncy castle, inflatable obstacle course, music, face painting and lots of games, with kids and adults alike participating. Free refreshments, ice-cream and a chocolate fountain were also on hand to keep everyone’s energy levels up.
The Salvation Army, based on Cross Street, is also holding a mammoth jumble sale on Saturday 20th September, from 10am – 11.30am.
Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase, including bacon butties.
