One of Shildon AFC’s pre-season friendlies, against Spennymoor Town on Saturday 15th July has been cancelled by the visitors, but the remaining friendlies will go ahead as scheduled.

However, the side will also now play an additional friendly away from home on Saturday 29th July at Seaham Red Star and the league season – after the reinstatement of Guisborough Town following an appeal to the FA – will now begin for the Railwaymen on Monday 31st July with a home game against the reprieved side.

Shildon’s other friendles remain as scheduled.

On Saturday 8th July, Darlington visit Dean Street.

Three days later on Tuesday 11th July, Blyth Spartans are the visitors.

Then Middlesbrough Under 23s will come to Shildon on Tuesday 18th July.

On 21st July the Railwaymen travel to Basford United of the Evo-Stik First Division South, with a 7.30pm kick-off and then play Selston FC at the same ground the following day with kick-off at 3pm.
