On Wednesday, May 20th, beginning at 8.00pm, John Wrightson will perform a concert of folk music at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.
John became interested in acoustic and folk music in the early 90’s and has been a prolific writer of songs ever since. His music is now being performed by legends of the folk world.
Joining John in the band will be Joan Edmundson and Kenny Jobling. Support band, Gardeloo, were a thriving folk band in the 70’s and now they are back! The songs swing from haunting ballads through to rousing chorus songs and shanties.
