Firework Arson Threat

Once released from her present sentence, a nineteen year-old Bishop Auckland woman is to be released on conditional bail before facing further charges. Lauren Simpson of Sun Street faces three alleged offences of breaches of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order and a fourth charge of threatening to kill.

Simpson is charged with verbally threatening a member of the public and harrassing a man by constantly banging on his door in an area she was already prohibited from entering.

Further charges of intimidating and harrassing a member of the public and a threat to burn down the house of Mary Oliver using a firework, will be presented at Bishop Auckland Magistrates’ Court on April 21st.

Ms. Simpson was ordered not to enter Woodhouse Close Estate or to communicate with prosectution witnesses.
