All are invited to come along to St Mary’s Church on Woodhouse Lane, Bishop Auckland, on Friday, 8 December at 7.30pm when Durham Police Band will entertain with a festive concert of favourite tunes to herald the start of the Christmas season.
Tickets, priced at £7.50, include seasonal refreshments – are pay on the door. There’s free entry to under 18s.
All income from the evening will help provide end of life care in the Bishop Auckland area from Marie Curie nurses.
The local Marie Curie Fundraising Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1.30pm at St Mary’s and new members are always welcome.
