At a recent meeting in Ferryhill Town Hall, Councillor Kim Tinkler presented a cheque for £350 from her Members Initiative Fund (MIF) to representatives from Ferryhill Town Youth Under 12s.
Cllr Tinkler said: “I am delighted to be able to support Ferryhill Town Youth FC Under 12s.
“This grant from the Members Initiative Fund will enable the club to purchase much needed winter coats in the team’s colours, which will not only keep members warm during the winter months, but will also give the young footballers a sense of identity.”
