Ferryhill Banner Group is raising funds to cover transport and buffet costs for this year’s Durham Miners Gala, which takes place on Saturday, 11 July.
Every year the group covers the cost of transport for the Ferryhill Town Band. It also supports transport costs for supporters and provide sa buffet for everyone on the day.
The first funraiser of the year is a bingo night and raffle on Saturday evening, 18 April at the Surtees Arms Public House in Chilton Lane.
The evening starts at 7:30pm and as usual it’s guaranteed to be a fun night. Everyone is very welcome to attend.
