Ferryhill Primary School’s Ambassadors and FBEC school leaders are making a short film about the effects of antisocial behaviour on family, neighbours, friends and even pets.
They want to use the film to highlight to children and young people how anti-social behaviour leaves people feeling intimidated, scared and vulnerable.
To help to be able to achieve this they would like people to record short clips saying how long they have lived in Ferryhill.
The people in the film can also talk a little about their family and neighbours, the positive things they enjoy, and then clips about what they have experienced in terms of anti-social behaviour and how it makes them feel.
Anti-social behaviour can range from people banging on windows in the evening, throwing eggs at houses, breaking bottles, smashing windows, setting fires, graffiti and kicking bins over etc.
They want to show that every action, no matter how small, affects someone else.
For the video they just need short clips, from just a minute or two in duration.
If you are not comfortable identifying yourself that’s not a problem, just record it outside or point your camera at an object and tell your story.
The film clips can be from all age groups, young and old alike.
