Spennymoor Probus Club meetings are hosted in St David’s (Tudhoe) Church Hall, Tudhoe Lane.
The next meeting will is on Tuesday February 10 at 10am. This will be on the subject “Wayward Wynyard – tales of Turbulent Tempests, Volatile Vanes, and Stormy Stewarts”, by Ron Tempest.
At the next meeting, on 24 February, Ian McArdle will be talking about Edith Cavell – a pioneer of modern nursing during the first world war, and who was executed by the Germans at the age of 49.
Both talks sound absolutely fascinating.
