Anxious Minds, in partnership with Team Solan Cancer Trust, is launching two new weekly support sessions for the Armed Forces Community at the Team Solan Support Hub in Spennymoor.
The programme begins on Friday 25 September and will run every Friday thereafter.
From 10am to 12pm, the Dug Out Breakfast Club will offer a warm, welcoming space for veterans and families to come together over a free breakfast, enjoy a brew, and connect in a relaxed, friendly environment.
In the afternoon, from 1pm to 3pm, a dedicated Cancer and Loss Support Group will provide compassionate support for anyone within the veteran community affected by cancer or bereavement.
The group offers a safe place to talk, listen, and find strength alongside others who understand.
Both sessions will take place at: Team Solan Support Hub, 26–28 High Street, Spennymoor, DL16 6DB.
