Events at the Town Hall This November

Bishop Auckland Town Hall has an array of events lined-up in forthcoming weeks.

On Monday, November 23rd, Gillian Wales and Bob McManners will speak about their latest biography, The Quintessential Cornish.

The book is based on the life of Spennymoor artist, Norman Cornish, one of the most celebrated mining artists in the country.

The presentation will take place at 7.30pm and tickets cost £2.

The Illinois Blues Brothers will be offering their tribute to the American blues and soul band, made famous by comedians Dan Ayckroyd and John Belushi, on Saturday, November 21st at 8.00pm.

Food will be available, and the night will be completed by Flashdance Disco.

“Come and enjoy the night with a group of friends – don’t forget, for every 10 tickets bought, we’ll give you the 11th free! commented a spokesperson for the event. All Tickets cost £12.00.

Fusing theatre, music and design, No Limits Theatre is presenting a play which takes spectators on a fascinating journey inspired by the legend of Cuckoo Jack, who’s past is returning to haunt him.

The show will take place on Wednesday, November 25th at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for concessions.
