Since the return of 2nd Bishop Auckland Cubs in September, they have achieved a lot of badges and have been busy learning about coding.
Some of them have achieved the highest award of Silver Scout badge by doing different activities both inside and out.
They came second in the Copper Cup in September, where they worked together as a team through different team challenges, went on a hike following a trail and crossed a river on a rope bridge.
The cubs have camped out in a storm and took part in activities from slingshots, archery, axe throwing and the cave bus, as well as cooking outside in the rain.
Cubs have worked with The McIntyre Centre through Bishop Auckland College to gain their coding and internet safety badges.
2nd Bishop Auckland Cubs will be visiting Sandringham Nursing Home and be taking part in their last camp of the year in November, as well as visiting Wynyard Observatory.
There are currently places for 7½ to 10½ year old cubs.
Cub Thomas and his Dad will be completing a hike up Helvellyn to raise money for Children In Need – his just giving page can be found here.
