The popular annual Classic Car Rally returns to Locomotion: The National Railway Museum at Shildon on Sunday 17th July.
A spokesperson said: “Come along to view a range of classic cars from a 1938 Austin Big 7 and a 1949 Cadillac Series 61 to a 1991 Nissan Figaro and a 1996 VW Polo Harlequin.
“Visitors will also be able to enjoy performances by Bearpark & Esh Colliery Brass Band at 11.30am and 1.30pm.”
The performances will take place on the BRASS Festival Stage in the Collection Building, which is an installation by artist Mick Stephenson for the BRASS Festival 2016.
Steam train rides behind Peckett No. 2012 “Teddy” – visiting from the Chasewater Railway – will be also available throughout the day.
A small charge applies for train rides.
Locomotion is open from 10am to 5pm daily, and parking and admission are free of charge.
