Ferryhill Methodist Church would like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to all the kind people of Ferryhill (there are too many to mention by name) who have been busily making poppies for their local Royal British Legion display.
Thanks also for making over 1,000 crotcheted squares, plus blankets and children’s knitwear for PUMA (Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid), together with a host of knitted toys for the various charity events which have taken place over the year, not forgetting all the amazing donations for their jumble sales.
A spokesperson said: “We are always truly amazed at the kindness, generosity and creativity of Ferryhill people.
“It makes us proud to be part of this community.”
