St Mark’s Church, Eldon is hosting its Christmas Fair on Saturday 18th November.
Light lunches are being served from 12 noon with the Fair being opened by the Rev’d Mark Hudghton at 1pm.
Stalls will include cakes, preserves and gift wrapped marmalade, jams and chutney; a tombola; crafts, gifts and jewellery; Mary’s mixtures; home made sweets and a raffle. “Come and start your Christmas shopping,” said a spokesperson.
Meanwhile St John’s Church is hosting its Christmas Fayre on Saturday 25th November from 10am until 1pm.
Santa will be there with live reindeer and lots of stalls packed full of crafts toys, cakes, jewellery, cos- metics and much more for that perfect gift.
Pre-book your Santa and live reindeer tickets at Shildon Alive, 19 Church St for £5, which includes a professional photograph and a present from the man himself.
Tickets will be limited on the day so book to avoid disappointment.
Entrance to the Fayre is £1 and includes Tea or coffee.
