A huge thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored our Chilton U8s footballers, writes club coach, Lee Gowland.
Together we managed to raise an amazing £440, which has allowed us to buy the lads their very own training tops.
At Chilton U8s we are so grateful for the support we receive from family, friends, and our local community.
As a way of giving back, we decided to sponsor our training tops with Solan Cancer Charity, a brilliant organisation that has been supporting people in our community for over 10 years.
Mark and his team do incredible work helping those facing a cancer diagnosis, as well as supporting families through loss.

This charity is especially close to our hearts, as Mark and his team have been there to support one of our own, Mick Fieldson, following his leukaemia diagnosis last year.
They regularly check in on the Fieldson family, showing exactly what their support means in real life.
Mark kindly came along to watch the lads train recently and even joined us for some photos with the boys – a special evening for everyone involved!
