After a hugely successful charity trek in September 2011 in which 16 local fundraisers raised a spectacular £24,000, the Butterwick Hospice in Bishop Auckland has organised another bespoke trek for October 2013.
Participants will trek through beautiful and awe-inspiring scenery of the Indian Himalayas, as well as spending two days working on a local community project in a Delhi village.
Registration is £300 and trekkers are asked to raise £2,500 which includes flights, accommodation, food and sponsorship towards the charity.
Full fundraising support is given by the fundraising team and regular meetings are held to support those participating.
