Shildon based company, Pied Piper Pest Solutions Ltd, hosted a charity clay pigeon shoot recently.
The day started at Redworth Hall with tea, coffee and bacon buns, and the shoot followed on nearby land with the kind permission of a local farmer.
The event was held in aid of national children’s charity, Dreams Come True, which works to make dreams come true for children and young people aged between 2 and 21 years-old with serious and life-limiting conditions.
One of the organisers of the event, Mike Stabler commented, “It was a good turn out on the day with glorious sunshine. The winner was Mr J Laitey from North Yorkshire and in total £682.50 was raised.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Redworth Hall Hotel, Blue Teal Tackle & Guns and Durham Decoys for their sponsorship, and everyone else who contributed to making this day a great success.”
