Pam Herbert and her family celebrated her 80th birthday in style at Hardwick Halls Tipsy Tea Party with Tess Tickle and the Dragettes (ambassadors for Bishop Auckland based charity Angel Trust).
Pam is an active member of the Chilton community, a town councillor, member of the women’s craft group and, as you may already have spotted from a previous issue, one of Chilton’s allotment holders.
She is proof that getting involved in local volunteering, taking the opportunity to meet new people and to try new things, usually for good causes, is a recipe for a healthy, happy, and active community life.
