Bright Futures Ferryhill CIC gratefully received a very kind donation of £250 from the Ferryhill Freemasons last week.
The organisation was visited by Chairman, Mr Molloy and members, who toured the community pantry and enjoyed a chat about what Bright Futures provides to children in the local area.
Director at Bright Futures Ferryhill CIC, Hannah Wilkinson said: “The financial donation will be used towards the running costs of both our projects, namely the community pantry and our children’s activity programme.
“Without these very kind donations, both financially and of food produce, we would struggle to continue to provide the services we currently run.
“The aim is to grow the community pantry to be able to open more days each week and reduce costs as much as we can for children to attend our activity programme”.
To support BFF you can visit the community pantry at Ferryhill Sport and Education Centre every Wednesday between 4pm and 7pm to do your food shop from as little as £5.
The pantry is open to everyone and anyone and the more that use the service, the more people the organisation is able to support.
