Shildon Methodist Church will have a special item up for sale to raise funds at their forthcoming Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 14 September.
The pre-loved framed print of Shildon Station by Eric Thompson will go under the hammer with a reasonable offer certain to win the print for their own wall.
The church’s community activities have re-started this week after major work too the heating system was completed last month.
“The Chatty Crafty Cafe restarted on Tuesday 5th September from 1pm,” said Susan Horner. “We would love to welcome back all our members plus new ones. Come along and see what we have on offer.
“Our weekly coffee mornings restarted on Thursday 7 September from 9.45am. A warm welcome awaits new and old friends alike.
“Information on all our activities: hiring of premises, baptisms, weddings and church services can be found on our website.”
