Ferryhill Banner Group is holding a fundraiser on Saturday 21 May at the Surtees Arms public house in Ferryhill, which will be the group’s annual Race Night. The first race will be at 7.45pm followed by a mixture of races.
“The evening is all very light hearted and fun,” said a spokesperson for the group. The Banner Group is raising funds to support our trip to the Durham Miners’ Gala on Saturday 9 July,” he added, “including transport for our Ferryhill Town Band and our supporters.
“And not forgetting refreshments for everyone after the event, so, if you would like a little flutter with a lot of fun please come along if you can.”
