West Auckland Town vs Bishop Auckland – Ebac Northern League – Saturday 26 March, kick off 3pm.

The third Auckland Derby is this weekend as Bishop travels the very short distance to the Wanted Stadium on Saturday.

These two have faced off twice this season already, once in the league and once in the Durham Challenge Cup.

Their previous meeting in the league was a win to West, 3-1, back in August.

West Knocked Bishop out of the Durham Challenge Cup in February after the game came to a draw and the teams went to penalties. West won 6-5 on Penalties.

West are sitting 5th in the league, they won their last game against Whitley Bay last weekend, 2-1.

Bishop are 19th as they drew against Ryhope, 1-1, on Tuesday night.

They have slightly closed the gap between Penrith and Northallerton after Penrith were beaten on Wednesday night, 1-0, by Whickham.

All the bottom four have tough games ahead of them. The big question of who manages to fight their way to stay in Division One still looms over them and their fans.

There are only five points between Billingham Town, 20th, and Northallerton Town, 17th.

The other fixtures this weekend for the bottom four are: Northallerton Vs Crook Town North Shields Vs Penrith Billingham Town Vs Sunderland RCA.

At Bishops last home game there was a collection for Ukraine, the total raised in the buckets was £251.56.

Bishop have duplicated that amount meaning a grand total of £503.12 will be donated to one of the Ukrainian charities.
