Ferryhill Town Council recently held their annual Art and Photography Exhibition, an event that allows local artists and photographers, both experienced and amateur, to showcase their work.
This year’s event was held virtually online, on Ferryhill Town Council’s Facebook page, with the public able to nominate their favourites in each category. The exhibits entered were widely varied and the event was once again a huge success.
The council was delighted with the interaction of residents, who enthusiastically voted for their favourite pieces of work.
To that end, the eventual winners of the 2024 Art & Photography Exhibition are as follows:
Art Winner: Christine Bowmer for Tranquility.
Joint Children’s Art Winners: Amelie Turner for Meowscream and Carson Turner for Manfred Mantis.
Photography Winner: Edward Serrell for The Boys are Back in Town.
A spokesperson for Ferryhill Town Council said: “We would like to thank all the very talented people and voters who took part in this year’s event.”
