The brilliant Cleves Cross Primary School Ambassadors for Community Change hit the streets last week with Amy the Neighbourhood Warden, and wow did they mean business!
Glenys from Approach Too said: “Pavements got a makeover with bold, messages reminding everyone to pick up after their dogs (because nobody likes a surprise on their shoe).
“Leaflets were hand-delivered with care, helping residents understand how to keep bins tidy and streets safe, because clean communities don’t happen by accident!
“And as if that wasn’t enough, the group litter-picked along the way. Talk about multitasking legends!
“These young changemakers are showing us all how community pride is done, with energy, kindness and a whole lot of teamwork.
“And with your help, Ferryhill’s future looking cleaner and brighter!
“Finally,” said Glenys, “we would like to say a big thank you to our Neighbourhood Warden, Amy.”
