As well as the festival for the See of Beverley, detailed in the poster, St Andrew’s Church, Spennymoor will be holding an All Souls service on Saturday 2 November at 12 noon.
This will provide an opportunity to remember and pray for departed loved ones.
A Sung Requiem Mass (Holy Communion service), lasting a little over an hour, will include beautiful reflective music by John Rutter and Hubert Parry and chance to light candles in memory of the departed.
The service is followed by a free soup and sandwich lunch and all are welcome.
Names of the departed to be included in the prayers should be sent to the Vicar, Fr John Livesley on 01388 814817 or johnlivesley1980[@]yahoo[.]co[.]uk by 30th October.
