“Our wonderful THPS Choir visited Durham Cathedral on Thursday 18 June to take part in a music event, and what a day we had” writes a spokesperson for Timothy Hackworth Primary School.
“From the moment we arrived, all members of our brilliant Choir were amazing. The singing was beautiful and made even more special by the building.
“Not only did we get to take part in this fantastic musical experience, but we also enjoyed looking around the Cathedral and the picnic we had outside certainly went down a treat.
“Thank you to everyone who came to support us. This will certainly be a memory we will treasure forever.
“Mrs. Simpson-May would also like to give a special mention to Melody who also made us all extremely proud when she introduced one of the songs to a very large audience. Melody read beautifully. Amazing!”
