Staff at The Bishop Press would like to take this opportunity to thank our readers, contributors and advertisers for making this paper what it is and for your continued support.
We would also like to say thank you to a few people who help bring you your paper every week, come rain, shine or snow!
Most of our contributors are volunteers without whom, as a not-for-profit company, we would not be able to run.
Thank you to James Burrage, who runs the Bishop Press website and to Barbara Spears and John Brennan, two voluntary contributors and Dave Hope our deliverer.
Thanks also to everyone at K&M Print, who helped us make our long-awaited transition into colour this year, and Keith Wallace who recently retired from our papers after 11 years.
Thank you to the town’s libraries who allow readers to leave their contributions with them, and to our many deliverers, who do a fantastic job in every weather conceivable.
Our biggest appreciation, however, is for you, our readers, who make this paper what it is. Without your news and information we would not be able to fill the paper every week. Please keep it coming!
Merry Christmas to you all and we look forward to seeing you all in 2011!
From Jeff, Les, Steph, Sarah & Andrew at The Bishop Press.
