Sunday 8th February saw the 3rd day of the national cadet league take place, with teams playing to secure a top five finish to ensure playing for the league.
At the start of the day Bishop Auckland A were sitting nicely in second place while the A team sat in 4th.
The B Team of Max Duffin, Luca Pontone and Peter Smallcombe remained unbeaten all day, scoring 9-0 victories over Darlington A, Ryedale and Ormesby C.
The A Team of Jack Jacomb, Leo Pontone and Connor Elston scored an 8-1 win over Ormesby C before a tight 5-4 win over Darlington A and a final round loss to Ormesby A.
These results ensured that both teams qualified for the top five.
The B team retained their second place and the A team remained in 4th place, going into the last round of matches.
